Ideally, beginners, ages 12-adult. We start from scratch and work up from there. However, if you already have a little knowledge, that's fine, too. The refresh will be great for you.
Nope. Whatever you have, we can make music with it. They both tune and play the same. The only difference is that one plugs in, one doesn't.
Ok ok ok. Without getting into too much detail, I have made exceptions for 10 or 11 before. The issue comes in with hand/muscle development, dexterity, playing on an appropriately sized guitar, and willingness to practice. So, it's not a hard and fast rule that 12 is the cutoff, but it's recommended. We'll leave it up to you.
Each week, a new lesson will be unlocked and accessible. That doesn't mean you have to be ready for it. If you need more time with the previous lesson, that's perfectly fine. Some things you'll catch on super fast. Some you'll need a bit more time. That's absolutely normal.
The reason we drip the lessons like that is because we don't want you to just open up a website and be overwhelmed by tons of videos and not know where to start. Everything we do is carefully and methodically chosen to help build on the previous song and concept.
I don't like to give away my secrets. I will say that every song we cover can be heard on the radio. But to name a few artists:
